Manville High School Athletic Sign-up Procedures:

Important!!!  Mandatory NJSIAA Opioid Video

 Beginning with the 2019 Winter Interscholastic Athletic Season, all prospective high school student athletes and their parent(s)/guardian(s) must view the "Athletes vs. Opioids" Video prior to registering for a winter interscholastic sport which opens through r-school Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 9:00am. 

 There will be a sign-off acknowledgment included in the online registration process through r-school Viewing the 6 minute video is an NJSIAA mandate, and all prospective student athletes are required to view the video with their parent(s)/guardian(s) once per school year prior to the first official practice of the season in their respective sport.  The signed acknowledgment is required prior to each sport season a student participates.   

1.)  Manville High School sign-ups for Fall Sports begin on Wednesday, October 2nd through Athletic Team Registration (click image above).

2.)  If you would like your athlete to have a school-based sports physical, the state required Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation History Form must be filled out, signed by the parent or guardian and submitted to the school nurse by Thursday, October 17th School-based sports physicals will be held on November 1stand November 15 for Manville High School. Please note there are a limited number of time slots available for school physicals. All medication forms must be renewed for the 2019-2020 school year.

3.) All forms are located under Health & Athletic Forms above. No one may participate in sport and receive any equipment unless the registration process is complete and a valid sport physical with required medical documents, approved by our school physician, is on file in the health office. Alexander Batcho Intermediate School (ABIS) Athletic Sign-up Procedures:

1.) ABIS sign-ups for WINTER Sports begins on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th, and CLOSES Monday, October 8th through Athletic Team Registration (click image above). When registering for individual sport for middle school click on ( Boys Basketball MS, Girls Basketball MS, Wrestling MS).

2.) f you would like your athlete to have school-based sports physical, the state required the Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation History Form to be filled out, signed by the parent or guardian and submitted to the school nurse by October 8th. Please note there are a limited number of time slots available for physicals. Physical Dates for (ABIS) Fall Sports October 10th and October 11th. All medication forms must be renewed for the 2019-2020 school year. If your child's healthcare provider is performing the physical, the Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation History, and Physical Exam Form are due by October 10th.

3.) All forms are located under Health & Athletic Forms above. No one may participate in a sport unless the registration process is complete and a valid sport physical with required medical documents, approved by the district school physician, is on file in the health office.
